HRH Dr. Sir Kris I. Onyekwuluje
The Igwe KCO Foundation was made in memory and to keep the legacy of the King and Traditional Ruler of Umunya Anambra. A friend and partner to Nigerian Presidents since General Ibrahim Babaginda in 1984 up to the current Nigerian President. HRH IGWE DR. KRIS CHINEDU ONYEKWULUJE KSC, DMA, GON was born on 20th January 1962 to the family of the late Mr. Nathaniel Chukwuemeka and Mrs. Eunice (nee Ndulue of Ifite Ogbunike) Onyekwuluje of Ajakpani Umunya, Oyi local government Area of Anambra State. He attended St. Stephen’s Primary School, Umuahia in Abia State and was later transferred to Ogbete River Primary School, Enugu. At the completion of his primary school education, he gained admission into the National Grammar School, Nike in Enugu and formally completed his secondary school education in 1979 at Adada Secondary School, Nsukka in Enugu state. Distinguished graduate of Tampa College, Tampa, Florida USA where he bagged a certificate in Advanced Management Studies. In recognition of his distinction and success in business, human resource development and mentoring qualities, On the 21st of March, 1998, the now emerging Kris Chinedu Onyekwuluje was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree by the Pacific Christian University, California in the United States of America.
He holds the following honours: Gideon Order on the Niger (GON), United Nations Ambassador of Peace Award, Pillar of Education Awards for outstanding Leadership Class presented by the Joint Mass Literary Project, Awka, Anambra State 2000, ECOWAS GOLD AWARD in recognition of his contributions and achievements in the ECOWAS Sub-region- 2000, Distinguished Corporate Achievers Gold Award- in recognition of contribution made to the Growth and Development of Nigeria Economy, African Youths International Development Foundation (AFYIPF) – Outstanding Leader Award 2009, Zenith International Award for Excellence. In recognition of selfless service to humanity towards sustainable growth & development in Africa – 2009, Traditional Ruler of the year: South-East in honour and recognition of your pioneering roles in the Socio-economic emancipation of the entire citizenry, immense contribution to the growth of the traditional institution and grass roots development of the country – 2008, Chairman, contact & mobilization sub-committee, South-East Council of Traditional Rulers – 2009 and others too numerous to mention, Knight of Saint Christopher (KSC)- In gallant recognition of his support to the growth of the Church in Nigeria, Nigeria Royalty Awards South East Traditional Ruler of the Year 2012, Member, Governing Council of the prestigious University of Lagos, 2013. 2 He established a leading computer firm, KRISCO BUSINESS MACHINES (KBM) in 1984 which became an instant success. With a solid economic base provided by his first company, he diversified into construction, shipping and clearing, ICT, Oil & Gas, printing etc. The following companies are members of his business conglomerate:

Inspiring role model and leader, who has dedicated his life to generations of Nigeria youths with opportunities to compete, learn and grow. Effective mentor to young contractors and esteemed adviser to Lecturers in academia and government agencies.
He is a husband of one wifeIyom Odibeze Lynda Oby Onyekwuluje (Nee Nwokoye). B.Sc. (Political Science), M.Sc. (International Relations) They are blessed with five children:
1. Princess Nnenna. B.Sc.(Psycology), LLB (Law), LLM (Nigeria Law School)
2. Princess Onyinye. B.Sc. (Biochemistry), M.Sc. (Public Health).
3. Princess Obianuju. B.Sc. (Information Resource Management), M.Sc. (Information Systems and Business Management).
4. Prince Emmanuel Chinedum (Jnr). LLB (Law)
5. Prince Somtochukwu Samuel.
